Bennie's dream in highschool was to race professional motorcross. In 1980 he started racing motocross locally. By 1984 Bennie jumped into offroad racing and has been riding Enduros and Harescrambles ever since. In 1990 he won his first HareScramble Series in the 200A Class. In 1992 and 1993 Bennie was the Vet A Class Harescramble winner. Harescramble wins continued for Bennie with Vet A Class wins in 1997,1998 and 1999. Enduro Class wins for Bennie include 1991 A Intermediate, 1992 and 1993 200 Vet A Class winner and Vet A Class winner for 1996, 1998 and 1999. In the 2000 Enduro series Bennie placed 6th overall and for 2001 finished 4th Overall Enduro. Bennie loves the competition and fellowship of S.E.R.A. racing.
