I tried out a GasGas jetting kit developed by LTRacing. WOWWEEEE!!! My GasGas XC300 now has MUCH BETTER
low end and throttle roll on response. Not just a little better, but a LOT better. The power is even more
linear. The engine responds instantly to what ever input you give it. Climbing steep hills that were a clutch
slipping experience in the past are an easy climb without the clutch. I hardly used the clutch at all.
What I can tell you is that this jetting is nothing like what the rest of us on this forum have tried. For a kit,
give Les a call at 360-871-2259 or e-mail him at ltracing01@foxinternet.com. I can’t imagine any of you being less
than very pleased with the performance. Eric K '01 GasGas 300XC --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I installed the LTR kit and have been dialing the bike in. This kit should be called the
LTR "NO CLUTCH FOR WHEELIES" kit --- absolutely awesome!!! Sharp --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I called Les and ordered the jet kit. Les spent quality time discussing the kit and is very knowledgeable,
and really nice guy too! I have been fairly pleased with my jetting as previously noted, but like Glenn I
am always in the pursuit of perfection which enhances my riding pleasure, not to mention any edge I can get!

I just rode with the kit in my SE 250. Talk about unreal!!! I thought the kit was a home made job. But it came
with an installation manual that looked highly professional. Right off the bat, when starting the bike for
the first time, I knew something was up. INSTANT throttle response. You can just roll the throttle and the
front end comes up. I'm using 100% race fuel and it carburets spot on. gasgasman --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, After setting the needle to #2, and going to the larger (standard) pilot with the air screw at 3 turns out,
its a whole new motorcycle. I must admit, I was slightly skeptical, as mine ran good before, but this is PERFECT.
The difference is incredible, feels like it picked up a couple hp across the board. The front end just snaps up
now, no clutch required. I have a real good test area a few blocks from my house, steep long hills, wide open 2
track, and technical rocks. It runs flawless over everything, no loading up, no pinging on uphills (even lugging),
and no pinging on downhills with the throttle closed. The plug runs a medium brown color. The only thing that now
requires readjustment is my right hand. In fact, its so responsive, that I'm almost sure I'll want to run the reed
spacer for the really slippery hell rides. This mod is a winner, If GGNA doesn't put it in the team bikes immediately,
their crazy.
As far as gas mileage with the LTR jetting, last Sunday I ran an enduro with a lot of mid to WFO riding through
deep sand and fast trail. The bike performed excellent and I used just under 4 gallons of fuel total in 80 ground
miles. I would consider this a worst case scenario. I have gone 55mi. on a tank with stock jetting in less demanding
conditions, so I can say the LTR jetting is more efficient.
